“September’s show celebrates the Māpura Music group with a batch of classic hits & fresh bits incorporating duets, songwriting & conducting with silence. Ululau Ama & Matthew Allerby - Māpura artists currently exhibiting in Paris at the Artpara - Shine Together show are featured with archival recordings. Yung Sung Chen discusses the difficulties disabled people face in finding income & employment. We feature a heap of music coming out of the Heart n Soul creative community & charitable trust in London that works with people with learning disabilities. We play oddities from a 72 year old Scotsman, a neurodiverse sound ensemble from Australia, Syrupy & tragic country music monologues from the 1970s & deaf songscapes from Wellington.”
