“Our first show of 2025! Your host Stefan has been wrestling with cataracts making it difficult to produce the show but with one eye now operated on here we go again! Theres a pile of incredible new recordings from the Māpura community - new musicians in the Māpura Music group & solo projects from some of the established members. We hear music from blind institutions, a Nepalese eye health charity, A mental health awareness competition winner, Post stroke first time songwriting, A quadraplegic composer of 1950s trash movies & 1970s home recorded funk with children playing bedposts like trombones. Featuring contributions from Indika Gamage Mendis, Ben Matio, Thais Nesbitt, Daniel Moore, Sangeethaa Murugiah, Harry Haslemore, Oliver Craw & Liam Young.”
